Tweets Do Good is a service designed to make it very simple to donate to a number of charities who do great work. What makes it special is that it is powered by the Twitter account of the President of the United States.
How it works
From our Donation Page you select
- how much money you would like to donate each time @realDonaldTrump tweets.
- what's the maximum you'd like to donate each month
- what charities you'd like to donate to
Every time @realDonaldTrump tweets, you donate another few cents to these great charities, and our Twitter account, @tweetsdogood replies to him to thank him for triggering these donations.
Optionally, you can also similarly donate whenever some of the President's colleagues tweet, including Sean Hannity, Paul Ryan and Newt Gingrich.
When am I charged?
On the last day of every month the sum total of all your tiny donations will be donated to one of the charities you selected, randomly chosen each time. We avoid splitting monthly payments to minimize bank charges, and maximize the money received by the charities.
How much do the charities get?
The charities get absolutely all the money, minus the fees collected by the credit card processing firms, which are unavoidable unfortunately. TweetsDoGood takes zero money for providing this service, and we never will.
What charities can I choose?
What about tax?
Tweets Do Good is not a registered charity, we simply funnel money to great charities. This means that unfortunately your donations will not be tax deductable.
Security
Our site is powered by Stripe, a world leading card processor. This means that we never have access to your credit card details, as they are stored in a trusted and secure 3rd party system. We simply charge you once per month up to the maximum value you set.
You can cancel your donations at any time by going to our My Account page and following the instructions.
